That Moment When You Reach Your Fundraising Goal. Thank You, Donors!

At the end of 2018, WYSE reached our fundraising goal and raised over $5,000 for our Giving Tuesday and End-of-Year Campaign. Thank you so much to each individual who donated this year, and each year before.

As a volunteer-run organization, WYSE has always been sustained through the passion of our mentors, mentees, and donors. Through each donation, we are able to better support our branches with stronger programming, more resources, and making sure all of the nolts-and-bolts of each branch are running smoothly.

Thanks to our donor's support, WYSE continues in our mission to empower young women by providing the resources and support necessary to make positive life choices and create community change. (We're not crying, you're crying!)

With that said, we're featuring some of the wonderful messages we received from donors to our Facebook page. Thanks again for your amazing, collective support! (Also, mixed in, check out our beautiful WYSE mentors and mentees sharing their gratitude from branch to branch.)

Very proud of my sister, Siri Anderson [Executive Director of Tulane WYSE], for her continued dedication to this important organization that educates and inspires young women; they are our future!

Go WYSE women! Doing important work in the world :)

WYSE changed my life! So grateful for the work y'all do.

$25 for 25 wonderful years of WYSE! I was a mentor from 2009-2012 at the University of Chicago. To this day, my mentees Ruby and Rosario remain special parts of my life, and I likewise made deep friendships with fellow mentors like Rachel, Megan, Karina, Veronika, and so many more. Thank you, WYSE! <3

I've been a part of Women and Youth Supporting Each Other (WYSE) for over 10 years now. I started as a mentor at UC Irvine working with middle school girls in Orange and Santa Ana. But working is the wrong word. Bonding, growing with, supporting are much better words. (I guess that's why it's in the name?) Since I've joined the National Board, I really see how even $5 can help one school make one girl or college woman's life better. It's easy for me to give my time and money to this cause because I know how important it is for the whole world to support each other.

I can’t tell you how much I love this organization and how much time and energy I’ve invested in it over the last 8 years. Our mission is to empower young women by providing the resources and support necessary to make positive life choices and create community change. If you’re looking to support an org that empowers young women of the future, WYSE is it!

Thank You From USC WYSE
